We have attempted to collect nutrition information for this restaurant and received the following replies:
January 2007: "At this time, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers does not perform nutritional value testing on the food we serve. We can tell you that each chicken finger weighs approximately 1.5 to 1.7 oz and a serving of our crinkle cut French fries is approximately 5 oz. Since portion size also plays a key role in a healthy diet, we hope that this information allows you to plan appropriately for your individual diet needs."
June 2007: "Thank you for taking the time to email us. It seems like we are all counting calories and watching our diets these days. An active lifestyle and balanced diet is definitely the way to go!
At this time, Raising Cane’s does not perform nutritional value testing on the food we serve so we are unable to provide you with the nutritional content information you’ve requested. With the new focus on trans fats, we are currently researching and testing oils that are trans fat free since we do use vegetable oil. We do not plan to conduct nutritional value testing until we have made a final determination about whether or not to make a switch to trans fat free oil since the value information would change considerably.
Feel free to check back with us later in the year to see how our testing and research is going. And, once we do complete the testing, we will definitely post it on our website and make it available in stores for all our patrons to access so they can get the information they need for their specific dietary needs.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you and we look forward to the next time.
Have a great day!"
